Potluck Fellowship Lunch – April 27th @ 12:30 PM

Please plan on joining us immediately following our church service on Sunday, April 27th for another potluck lunch. It will be a wonderful opportunity to get to fellowship while enjoying good food together!
The theme for this particular potluck lunch is “Spring Favorites”.

All are welcome to attend! Those who do come are encouraged to bring one of the following:
- Families should bring a favorite spring weather dish
- Individuals should bring a dessert OR side dish
- A friend or neighbor

The church will provide the tableware and drinks.

You can sign up at the Welcome Center in the church lobby, or by filing out the insert in the church bulletin on Sunday morning.

NOTE: There will also be an important business meeting for Church Members following the lunch. All members of HPBC are encouraged to attend.

“Fishers of Men” (A Passion Drama) – Friday, April 18th & Saturday, April 19th @ 7:00 PM

High Point Baptist Church’s Drama Ministry returns this year with an original production proclaiming the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The HPBC Drama Ministry presents: “Fishers of Men”

“Come follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.” Mark 1:17

There will be two presentations this year at High Point Baptist Church on the evenings of Friday, April 18th and Saturday, April 20th at 7:00 PM. Performances are free of charge as our gift to the community. All are welcome to attend. Light refreshments will also be served after the presentation.

Free Clothing Giveaway – Saturday, March 8th from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Free Clothing Giveaway for men, women, and children. All are welcome! There will also be complimentary danishes and coffee.

Help is needed to fold and sort clothes beginning March 2nd. We also need help on Saturday, March 8th during the Giveaway.

A sign-up schedule is available in the foyer at High Point Baptist Church for your convenience, or please contact Trisha Gaugler for more information.

We will accept clothing donations from the church family, but we respectfully request that you bring your donations folded and sorted to assure that we can accumulate the volume of all items received. Clothing donations may be brought to HPBC and placed in the according rooms on the left side of the learning wing.

Men’s Retreat – May 30th & 31st

The men of our congregation are urged to come together for a Men’s Retreat at the Pocono Mountain Bible Conference in Thornhurst, PA from Friday, May 30th to Saturday, May 31st.

The overnight gathering will include worship, fellowship, and biblical study with guest speakers Dr. Steven Silverstein and Pastor Tom Hutchinson.

Sign-ups are available now at High Point Baptist Church at the Welcome Center, or by filling out the insert in the church bulletin on Sunday morning.

The deadline for registration is March 2nd with a $10 deposit. The total cost for the retreat is $50/person. Scholarships are available (contact the church office for more info).

NEW Church Food Pantry

High Point Baptist Church is establishing a Food Pantry which will be used to meet church members’ needs as necessary.

You can help get our Food Pantry started by donating any of the following food items:
- Canned meats, fish, or poultry
- Canned vegetable or fruits
- Powdered milk products
- Dry cereals or oatmeal
- Pasta
- Canned soup or dried soup mix
- Cake or bread mixes
- Canned juice
- Paper or plastic bags

Please place your donations in Room 102 at the church building.
