National Day of Prayer – Thursday, May 1st from Noon-6:00 PM

This is the 5th annual observance of the National Day of Prayer put on by the National Day of Prayer Committee of NEPA.

Our theme this year is “One voice. United in Prayer”. Seven local pastors will be offering the prayers this year for Government, Business, Military, Church, Family, Education and Media.

We will conclude the program at 7:00 PM with our traditional human prayer chain around the perimeter of the square along with our Balloon Launch and rendition of God Bless America.

High Point Baptist Church will have a table on Public Square in Wilkes-Barre from Noon-6:00 PM. Members of our congregations are encouraged to join Al Savignano for at least one hour during the event.

Hope to see you there to help us continue to make history by forming our human prayer chain around the square!
